The Annual Toro College Information Session was held at the University of Nebraska Omaha Hyper Building on January 6, 2011 and provided valuable insight to parents and Toro Club players as to how the college recruitment process works. The panel of 5 soccer coaches shared their expertise by answering frequently asked questions and expanding on each question in a "round table" format.

Some of the questions discussed included:

• What are common areas of weakness found in new Freshmen Athletes?
• Which tournaments give the best visibility to high school age athletes?
• How can players get the most scholarship money possible? 

The second half of the session was opened by Marcus Kelcher discussing each persons' individual accountability being the key factor to a successful college experience and concluded with questions asked by parents about other subjects.

The program was video taped and edited for viewing on-line.

A DVD of this event has also been created and is available for $5 (plus $4.95 s/h). The DVD is chaptered for easily browsing to each question and will be mailed to you via priority mail.
