2012 Midwest Mother's Day Champions
Toro Galacticos attended the Midwest Mother's Day Soccer Tournament In Overland Park, Kansas over the weekend. It was a great weekend of U13 Premier soccer. The girls came out the weekend with a record of 3-1-0, and finished as champions of the tournament.
In the championship game Galacticos competed against BVSC STARS Aberdeen. The game was intense and physical, but Galacticos dominated the entire game. Galacticos missed many opportunities, but was able to get one in in the second half ending in a win 1-0.
Overall it was a great weekend and well deserved!

The Toro Soccer Club is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization and has been in existence for over 20 years. We have teams in all age groups, under 9 years through under 19 years of age.
Toro's philosophy and purpose is simple. We strive to provide a framework and organization that will develop soccer players to their full potential through excellent coaching and individual training. Our focus is to develop the female athlete as a total player. From this process comes self-esteem, discipline, determination and teamwork - attributes that extend beyond the soccer field, attributes that can be used throughout life.
If we are to live up to our goals, philosophy and purpose, selecting the best players is not enough. We must be even more selective in choosing our coaches. We can't settle for anything less than the best coaching staff available.
To help parents understand the demands of female athletes, we can provide you with a copy of the Parents Guide to Girls' Sports produced by the Women's Sports Foundation.
Toro Soccer is a member of the Nebraska State Soccer Association in affiliation with the United States Soccer Federation and United States Youth Soccer.
