The U8-U10 Toro Developmental Academy is the premier Academy for girls in the state of Nebraska.  Players will be coached by some of Nebraska's most qualified and educated coaches.  Developing young players is Toro's # 1 priority.

Our club takes great pride in both the development of the player and the the fun atmosphere we provide on a daily basis.  Great training, a great environment, a great club - thats what you can count on.

Toro's Under 8, Under 9 and Under 10 teams are not "tryout" teams. We will form teams as long as there are available players and qualified coaches. We actively seek players in these age groups in order to field as many teams as possible!

It is Toro's philosophy to group players of similar abilities together and to place these teams in leagues and divisions appropriate to their ability. We believe that this approach maximizes the development of each individual player, promotes team play and enhances each player's love of the game.

Fundamentals are stressed at this level with a goal of each player developing the proper technique to dribble, pass, receive, shoot and defend. Strong fundamentals at this level will provide a platform for the future.

Through out the year, we conduct joint training sessions and camps for all of the U8, U9 and U10 players. We try to build a strong community where all of our young players can learn and grow together. No reason our players can't meet some new friends and have some fun while improving their soccer skills.

Our U8, U9 and U10 teams participate through the ENSA (Eastern Nebraska Soccer Association) League. Games are typically played on weeknights with 5 field players and a goalie (6v6 format). Practices, training schedules and tournament participation is decided by the coach.

 All U8, U9, U10 Toro Players can expect to pay for the following:

1. Registration Fee - $110.00
2. Winter Facility Cost- $100.00
3. Academy Package( Jerseys, Shorts, Socks, Training Top, Ball, Bag) $137.96
4. Coaching Fee - Varies depending on the team and coach.

* Coaching fees are only billed if the team is coached by a paid trainer and not by a volunteer parent coach.  It will be the Toro Academy Director's decision on who coaches each U8, U9, U10 Toro team.  All volunteer coaching requests will be discussed between the coach and the DOC.  Please contact the (Toro Academy Director) if you are interested in volunteer coaching.
