Congratulations to all 2011 TPMC Champions.

This year was the 1st year for the TPMC and what a great start we've had. In the bitter cold & rain the girls were able to get the heat on the field and achieve a great standard of soccer throughout the weekend.

Toro would also like to thank U10 OFC Solar, U10 CBFC Green, U10 LSC Flames XI,  U9 CBFC Xplosion & U9 CBFC Black Ice for their support. All guest teams played fantastic!

 USADA 'PODRAZA TRUE SPORT AWARD'

Toro would like to thank USADA for their support for the TPMC. Erin Hannan made the trip from Colorado to visit and award selected players with the True Sport Award. We would also like to thank Larry Bowers, Betsy Douglass & Erin Hannan for all their hard work to make this award special.

Fantastic achievement ladies!!!!

 Toro Soccer Club would like to send a personal thank you to Pat Rosenthal, Doran Stienike, the Blaster squad and Kelly Podraza for an amazing tournament opening. Toro are blessed to have all these fantastic people within our organization. 

The Toro Blaster win their TPMC memorial game 5-1 against a good Toro Select team. This game was a great to watch with lots of talent on the display. 

Also a big thank you to all the Toro Select players & coach Taylor Haynes for making time to play in such a special game!

I think we all can agree that this is how Taylor would have wanted her opening game to go - a Blaster win, a happy Pat & Doran and an extremely proud mom! :)

GENERAL INFORMATION

Team checkin will be at the main tent before all your 1st game. (Rosters 'Including guest players', Player passes and medical releases are needed)

T-Shirts will be on sale at the main tent - $15. All proceeds go back into the TPMC Scholarship Fund.

All scores will be posted online every 2-3 hours through the day (all updated scores will be listed at the main tent also)

Free snacks/water for ALL coaches will be at the main tent.

GREAT OPENING NIGHT OF GAMES!!

 On Dec. 18^th, 2010 ten year old Taylor Podraza and her sister Jordyn died in a traffic accident with their Father while they were on their way to a Christmas celebration.  Words cannot begin to describe the loss felt by not only their family and friends but the Toro soccer community as well.  Taylor was an incredibly dynamic player who could seemingly score at will, and yet she was always willing to make the extra pass that made her teammates better. It’s in her honor that we dedicate this tournament …

All profits made from the Taylor Podraza Cup will be placed into the 'Taylor Podraza Scholorship Fund' which will help scholorship players within the Toro Academy who cannot afford to play soccer.
